The Humpty Doo and Rural Area Golf Club is set in pristine bush land in Darwin's rural area.
Watch for wallabies, goannas, and cockatoos in the bush setting, which features two tee positions to adapt to an 18-hole course.
Challenges are present on every hole, and include water hazards, sand bunkers and trees in the middle of the fairway. There is a practice putting green with attached bunker and a driving range.
After a round head to the cool of the air-conditioned clubhouse for a cool drink on the large under cover verandah or a meal in the restaurant.
Golf clubs and carts are available for hire, but note that bookings are essential for the carts.
Green fee players are welcome at all times other than during club competitions.
