The Strathalbyn Agricultural Show has been a fixture in the town calendar since 1856. It provides an opportunity to showcase everything the district has to offer from giant farm machinery to delicate handmade floral posies.
Every local skill and hobby is on show along with cattle, sheep, alpacas and chickens. Show bags and donuts are obligatory along with CWA scones topped with locally made jam and cream.
Funfair rides and amusement stalls provide extra colour and pizzazz to the day.
