In 2020, the distillery took a significant step by commissioning and beginning the distillation of gin and vodka using their micro-batch copper pot still. By early 2021, they expanded their operations with the installation of a larger, custom-built copper whiskey still from Australia, marking the commencement of their whiskey journey. The dedicated brewery and distillery team meticulously crafted their first batch of whiskey wash, made entirely from 100% malted barley, achieving a 7% alcohol content.
Visitors can savour the Whiskey Tasting Flight, offering a chance to taste the distillery’s first four initial single malt, single cask whiskeys. This hosted experience provides an in-depth look into the whiskey production process and unveils the story behind the distillery's inaugural releases.
