The Freds Pass Rural Show is the premium community event in the Darwin rural area. It is a great agricultural show, with all the features of a traditional show plus exciting extras showcasing local food.
The show will be held at the Freds Pass Reserve in the Litchfield Municipality, 30 Kilometres south of Darwin. Positioned in a shady area around Lakeview Hall, the show is spacious yet compact, and a natural amphitheater provides a perfect setting for Main Stage entertainment.
Throughout the show, the Paddock to Plate pavilion features chefs and foodies entertaining show goers with local food preparation and tastings.
There is still plenty to see and enjoy in our plethora of other show activities - competitions (equestrian, cattle, goats, poultry, art, craft, photography and horticulture), grand parade, woodchopping exhibition, classic car and bike show, talent quest, live stage event, animal nursery, children's' entertainment and market, food and commercial stalls. Saturday night features a fireworks spectacular which is followed by live music on the Main Stage.
