Guyala [pronounced goo-ya-la] is the local indigenous Gimuy language group (including Gimuy Walubara Yidinji) word for the White Breasted Sea Eagle and is also the name of the mountain range embracing the Southern side of Trinity Inlet.
The team acknowledge the traditional owners of the land our cafe is on, and believe language is an important key to maintaining and celebrating culture.
