Holiday Drama Workshops with Canberra Youth Theatre

These school holidays, join Canberra Youth Theatre for fun-filled drama workshops for young artists in school years one–six. In Imagine That!, young actors with big imaginations will work with a professional theatre maker to create an original performance, fuelled by their imaginative ideas. Over four days, participants will be guided through the artistic process of writing a synopsis, creating characters, collaborating with fellow actors and exploring story structure to bring to life an original performance on the final day. In Once Upon a Villain, you'll dive deep into the darker side of fairytales, exploring the murky motivations behind the bad guys who add danger, style and excitement to beloved stories – because every great story needs a great villain! Build confidence, explore your creativity, get performance skills, make friends and have fun with Canberra's leading theatre company for young people.
