Join ICRAR (International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research) on for NASA’s International Observe the Moon Night!
ICRAR will be busting out the telescopes and hitting the streets of Perth to observe the nearest celestial neighbour!
Come on down to Yagan Square under the Digital Tower for a look through ICRAR's 10-inch Dobsonians – you can check out all the amazing features to see on the moon’s surface, from mountains to craters to astronaut landing sites.
There will be real astronomers throughout the event to talk about what you can see and answer all your space questions.
The event will run from early evening, with observations beginning as soon as the moon becomes visible. Enjoy some lively roving performers while you’re there! Don’t forget to follow thme on social media for key notifications and any last-minute updates.
