Prepare to step into the enchanting world of fairytales at Elizabeth Quay during the second week of the school holidays! Children aged 12 and under are invited to grab their storybook passport and embark on a magical adventure with Once Upon a Fairytale at The Quay.
This delightful journey takes young adventurers through a series of magical zones inspired by beloved characters such as the Fairy Godmother, Billy Goat Gruff, Rapunzel, and even Mary Poppins at the EQ Carousel. Along the way, they may also encounter mermaids, pirates, and Moana, adding to the excitement.
To begin the adventure, participants can pick up their storybook passport from the 'library' located at The Landing. As they explore each fairytale station or activity, they will hunt for the missing word that helps them piece together their storybook passport. The journey culminates at Gusto Gelato’s Jack and the Beanstalk station, where completing the storybook allows them to trade in their magic bean for a free gelato.
This magical experience is perfect for a fun family day out. Visitors are encouraged to catch the ferry, train, or bus, all conveniently located just a short stroll from Elizabeth Quay, and spend the day exploring Perth.
