Vines café is nestled within the beautiful grounds in a restored historic Queenslander. The verandah overlooks the lower deck and gazebo where the famous Limberlost jade vine provides shade & sanctuary.
Abundant seasonal herbs spill over the decks and lower gardens where guests enjoy the shade of the gracious old mango tree. The mango tree is of historical significance for Cairns having been planted in the 1880s by bullock teamsters and is part of the Freshwater Heritage Trial.
Birds and butterflies are regular sights whilst dining at Vines - especially iconic Cairns Birdwing Butterflies and beautiful Ulysses Butterflies. Guest can also relax in their fernery among the ferns and indoor plants whilst sipping world class coffee.
Breakfasts and lunches are all freshly prepared for the discerning diner using the freshest of ingredients, locally sourced where possible, and garnished with their own freshly grown herbs from the Café Garden.
