The Yahava KoffeeWorks Cool Water Classic, Western Australia’s newest long-distance open water swim, returns to the idyllic waters of Geographe Bay.
The swim will see solos, duos and teams (three to five people) enjoy the pristine sheltered waters of Geographe Bay. The 20-kilometre point-to-point course will see participants follow the sandy shoreline from Dunsborough to finish under the iconic Busselton Jetty.
The unique course caters to not only the participants but spectators and supporters. With four official Beach Parties along the course, there are plenty of opportunities for people to cheer on and enjoy the event atmosphere. Each Beach Party provides an opportunity for swimmers to leave the water and fuel up, duos and teams can use these locations to swap swimmers.
Geographe Bay is located in the Southwest region of Western Australia. A short three-hour drive from Perth and direct flights from Melbourne and Sydney Busselton offers the perfect location to base yourself for a Western Australian getaway. The region offers world-class wineries, breweries and dining experiences. With world-class beaches and natural beauty, the area is a must-see for anyone.
